The sale is for our Mannin Models Walker Diesel body in 4mm scale. In the pictures you can see it is paired with an Atlas GP9 chassis as they are easy enough to find and reasonably priced. Please note this sale is for the body only, the pictures are with the chassis to show you what it would look like using one. The fine scale modelers among  you might like to build your own 12 mm chassis with external cranks but for most the GP9 route is a very easy option to build.
 
I have adapted the Walker very slightly so that all you need to do to fit the GP9 chassis is file back a very small amount two 10mm blocks on the chassis. I have added a cut away on the front of the body for the couplers, but if you wanted to cut the chassis back and have complete buffer beams drop me a note with the order and I can make you one.
 
The Walker Diesel was used on the West Clare Railway in Ireland and when the line was closed they were to be exported to the Isle of Man, but for some reason the deal fell through and they were scrapped.
 
All our Mannin Models are designed and produced in house by our two man team consisting of Keith who has worked on Railway vehicles for over 30 years and William who gained his 3d printing skills working in Formula 1 and we are now a supplier to F1.
 
 
Mannin Models are made by Didcot Design and prototyping where we can print in both FDM and Resin on our large format printers as well as laser cut most non metal materials up 12mm thick and 1300 x 900.
